Sick lookin Z. Is that a cf front spoiler? If so what brand?
Back to the op, I had a black vette and you do have to work to keep it clean, but it was a labor of love and the results are worth it. You can't go wrong with either. They both can be stunning.
id like to know who makes the front lip spoiler also!
i vote for black, black is easy to keep up if you come up with a nice system that works for you, yellow is just not my thing. school bus is yellow and so is a taxi-cab,nothing against the yellow vette owners but yellow can rub people the wrong way.
Lets see..... what color was the C5R? Oh yea.....MY
Wow...dont get what color you like, get what other people says looks better...Makes perfect sense to me...
Imho tho yellow looks disgusting on any car.
There's one in every crowd and I guess you're it
Obviously I am a little torn between the two. Black when clean definitely has a much meaner look and gets the edge but it is alot of work to keep up and I'm pretty compulsive about keeping my toys looking sharp.. Yellow looks good and really shows off the lines of the car and is just alot easier to maintain, plus that yellow one with the black modular wheels with yellow trim and tail looks sharp. It is a decent chunk of change to drop down and I really don't want to look back and say I should have gone with the other one. I think the owners and forum members different perspectives are helpful. Except for yours.
Strictly on looks alone I meant. I don't think hair color really actually influences a lifestyle or personality (humanwise).
Although my black Vette seems a bit stuck in her ways. Never shutting up and always raping asphalt. Anybody else have this problem? Hmm maybe its me... I think we all have this in common!
As for the car choice...it's up to you man. I can guarantee you one thing though, whatever color you choose, you'll look back at it 3-4 times maybe more every time you park it. Just the nature of these cars. With black, expect to spend more time cleaning but its quality time with the car for me.
That being said, if I ever get another...it'll %100 be Torch Red!!!
When I was shopping for a Vette I wanted a purple C4, a yellow C5 or an Orange C6.
I ended up getting a Black C5 haha. Love it! I actually like not sticking out as much and just being in my own world. That said, I still like the Yellow ones. Don't care about how hard it is to keep the Black looking clean. Black looks so sexy.
Blue and Red to me look like plastic toys. I don't think you can go wrong with black or yellow.
If you have a hydrophobic clearcoat applied to the black car at a detail shop you would have no problem keeping it clean. Nothing sticks to it, not even bugs! I vote black because like many have said, its its absolutely stunning when its its shining properly. Car for car, a clean black z next to a clean yellow z will steal the thunder everytime. Black shows off the c5s lines better than yellow.
