Default Yellow or Black

Need to pick one, same mileage same options which one should I choose. Black looks great but is brutal to keep up. Yellow real sharp and flashy probably a breeze to keep clean won't show swirl marks, but I do notice on the sharp corners by the trunk you can see almost through the paint to the black smc Okay how about some help.

You know the girl that you see on a billboard and she's a model. At first you cannot seem to figure out why she is even a model? She's not a well known face and you find her appearence different but attractive. You stare at her trying to figure out what the hell these people were thinking putting her up there not following traditional looks that most like to see in models. Then you realize theres something about her that is different from the rest of the models but can't really grasp if she's hotter or not? Just different. To me that is how I feel about a yellow vette.

black is mean and looks amazing at night and when clean! but yellow is rare and tends to get attention quicker. you really cant go wrong here, whatever you think you wont get tired of seeing the most is what you should get. but remember whenever your feeling wicked the yellow wont fit the mood! lol good luck

Millennium Yellow FTW! You can't go wrong with any color, but yellow really does help show the beautiful curves of the C5z.

Yellow. Personally I think black is boring. No offense to people that like black. I just like contrast. You can't really see all the great lines and curves on a black car that well.

Madman, if I did black I wanted the exact stripe kit in your avitar, is that your actuall car?? If yes how does the stripe kit hold up any issues with stone chips, fading, cracking, or damage to the paint underneath from the glue?

When I go in to my garage every morning all I see is "yellow". Still doesn't matter as long as it's a "Z"

Perfectly said...

I think I'm a bit biased due to my avitar as well. However, I'm not saying I'd never own a yellow z06 although I believe it kinda should be reserved for exotics. Black does take a lot of TLC but DAMN does it look good when cleaned up.

I'm more of a brunette/black kinda guy. Never really been with a blonde

^Blondes are more fun, especially the fake blondes. They are chasing a lifestyle or mindset. I love finding a dyed blonde.

I have a red Zo6 and have had 2 black cars in the past. (a daily driver and a garage queen)

To the question of this thread... I'd pick yellow. You live once, be bold; plus, the yellow hue looks good on this particular car.

In cocker spaniel parlance, that means any solid color other than black. Black vets can be awesome or awful, not much in between. If you would rather spend your time driving and enjoying your car as compared to washing and drying it, forget the black. The worse part is that you can't just rinse or wash your car and then take it for a drive to dry it. looks like crap. Now if you have a heavy duty water softener/filter arrangement (and/or very clean water), life could be much easier.

I got my black Z with very low miles and at a very good price. If only it had been any other color! You know where every little imperfection is.

Either way, buy a Z and enjoy it.

Hey.... why not both colors? When I first got the MY it was a little disturbing..... thats a lot of yellow. I put some stripes on and it broke up the color and added a little more contrast. I figured if I didn't like it, I could always remove them. I like the look.

I really do like black but having another car with a dark color.... man... impossible to keep clean. Looks the best right after washing. After that.... dust collector Whatever you get.... doesn't matter. You're gonna love it
