a couple questions
but i have always wanted to own a corvette. it has always been my dream to own one. Well long story short I’m starting to pay off my cobra and then plan to sell it and buy a corvette. Seeing I have a while before i pay the cobra off i just wanted to get some facts about the corvettes.
Anyways I had a bunch of questions for you guys but I cant think of them all right now, so as I remember them ill ask.
But for now, how much hp can the bottom end hold
What are the power differences (if any) from year to year starting from when c5’s where made till the end. Which I believe is 97-04 (correct me if im wrong)
As for what I want to do with the car here is a list of what I want to do with it after I get it and save up some extra cash.
-Full intake (I have heard vararam is very good)
-full exhaust
-cam (very fond of the whiplash 2 from englandgreen)
-heads (trickflow)
-nitrous system (75-100 shot depending on how much the bottom end can handle)
After that I want to make the car look amazing to go along with sounding amazing

I read a lot about the addition of power additives (i.e. cam, intake, headers and so on), but hardly ever hear about handling improvements. I guess it is the line from Top Gun, "I feel the need for speed". Granted the stock Corvette has decent handling and braking, but it can be greatly improved. Too much added hp can hamper the handling and braking, so I have always believed that set you hp goal and then build you suspension and braking to handle it. Once that is done go for the hp gains.
If you hang around here long enough, all your questions will be answered
Nitrous is a cheap and easy way to get HP. Engines respond well to supercharging also, but MUCH more $$$$. Look at Forced Induction/Nitrous section for more info:

and as for the stock suspension and breaks what are the limits with hp before i will want/need to upgrade them (guessing) because i would like to make around 450ish hp before i want to worry about suspension and breaks.

are very nice but "well" nothing like the ride or
feel of a nice C-5.. Stangs are similar to the chevy camaro...rear seat family type, nice but just not
the same...as a sports car... save the wave
and the house is no where near water
