Many have used this module but there are also mods to the wiring inside the head unit to get another Aux input as well as mods to get up to three additional Aux inputs along with what you already have
My car doesn't have a changer so I used an IPOD2Car PXDP with the PXHGM4 cable. I picked it up on the auction site for about $100. I referred to the write up from forum member Toque. It is a great mod! Good luck!
Thanks guys for the input! Looks like its IPOD2car for me.
Have a great weekend.

There is a guy on eBay that has them at a bargain price. He did not have the right harness for my set up and he gave me nice discount so I could buy it elsewhere.
Does the iPOD2Car have ALL cables/connectors necessary? I was looking at TOQUE's nice pics of install, and I have the same OEM single CD play in dash unit in my 2001 Z06. But 1 of the cables he uses in his install is GMH20TC, and apparently this is no longer available!!
So, does the iPOD2Car do the same thing and have ALL the necessary cables and stuff in 1 package?
Also I assume that install of either system does away with the CD. Is this correct? I'd kinda like to keep the CD player since I sometimes like to listen to books or other CD media that I don't want to put on my Ipod, but assume this isn't possible.

IPOD2Car PXDP with the PXHGM4 cable will work. I have the single cd player also.
