If I bought a red C5 it'd be mag red and if I bought a red C6 it'd be crystal red metallic. I prefer deeper reds on Vettes.
Pics look good though!

The Torch Red looks much orange(r) to me in the pictures than it does in person. I've always been a Torch Red fan. Only reason I didn't choose it when I bought mine was that there were way too many reds out there already. Not really true anymore.

I think you're over exposing most of those pictures. :P

They're not really overexposed, but they are much more highly saturated than "real life."
Which is fine, that's how I do my pictures too, but it will tend to exaggerate the orangeness of TR.

From someone who made the jump to a C6 this year from a C5......
The C6 is a much improved ride from the C5. In actuality, it is more aerodynamic than the C5. Of course you have more HP.
When I traded my '04 for the '09 I have now, I thought I would miss my C5..........until I hit the GO pedal leaving the dealership on US RT1
The things you think you don't like about a C6 now will change in a millisecond once you drive a C6 on the regular.
Not bashing the C5. It is a GREAT car.
If the C6 in the pic is an 08 or newer, you'll get the 430 HP LS3 (436 HP if it has the NPP
).
At any rate, you'll get a great ride no matter which car you choose

You're right. Signs are always surrounded by an ocean of white.
Just busting *****. Keep at it, you'll get it dialed in eventually.

I gotta go with the C5 torch red. I guess that because my FRC is the same color.

If I bought a c6, I would expect it to be everything that you describe.
I'd be sorely disappointed if it didn't ride, handle, and run better than a c5.
It's the next generation, it's suppose to be better.
The only thing it can't do is look better. C5 has that title hands down.

Torch Red is the best red I've seen on a car. I get so many compliments on my TR Coupe. The Victory red looks very boring next to the TR.
