black plastic scrapes but that's it. No big deal in my opinion. It scrapes all the time actually going into parking lots. Just have to learn to angle it.

Yep. Lower it, get some fattdaddy rollers, and trim your air dam up and it's not so bad!

I'm assuming you mainly scrape your air dam which isn't anything to worry about, hell it was designed so it could take that made out of flimsy rubber/plastic and on hinges in the center. Save your lower radiator frame with the rollers and trim ~1" off the air dam and you'll be fine. 1" off my air dam has ZERO cooling effects and sits just a hair over the rollers so therefore the air dam NEVER scrapes. If I ever hit anything it is the rollers on steep inclines/declines however I am lowered nearly 3" on coilovers.

Hope this helps!

You need to remember that the front rubber air dams are both easily replaceable and moderately inexpensive. If that's ALL that's scraping, then you don't have much of a problem. It's when other stuff starts scraping that you need to be concerned. I'm all the way down on stock bolts and that's as far as I'm going to go. Other than the front rubber air dams, I don't scrape.

on my car the only thing that scrapes is the lower airdamn thing, but that is hinged and designed to be scraped, i have hit those bars once, but since then i use sharp approach angles if im not confident.

Get rocker/rail-savers, rollers, and you'll be fine. Who cares if stuff under the car gets a little scuffed up? As long as you're not denting oil pans and screwing stuff up you'll be fine.

I scrape all over the place...some people turn around and think my transmission must be grinding Even on uneven streets, the front lower flexible part of the bumper seems to scrape all the time...well, it'll wear itself down eventually. Indy

I had to get a concrete "fillet" added to the "s" curb at the end of my driveway. AND I got rollers for my front "rub" bar.

Let alone the roadkill skunks, possums, cats, dogs, deer....etc.

Stock 'Vette looks cool enough and handles well enough for me.
