Default Which tires look good???

So I am in desperate need of a new set of tires. But I have no idea which ones to go with. I was dead set on PS2s until I saw them on a C5 in person I really dont like the look of those on the thinspokes found that out at the corvette expo in tennessee. I am keeping the stock wheels and the 17/18 combo doesnt make for a good looking tire profile if you know what I mean. So not only do I need to find a good performing tire but one that doesnt look goofy to and I am having difficulties finding pics of different tires on C5s...

I am looking for a tire that will offer good performance, milage is not a big concern more performance both straightline and turns. I am thinking GSD3s or Nitto INVOs.

Can anyone post pics of there tires and maybe give opinions on what wouldnt sacrifice looks I dont want runcraps anymore...

Thanks
Rob

Ok thanks thats what I was hoping to hear. I am glad the nittos may be the choice for me they are cheaper than the alternatives...
I just notice that most of the new tires have lips to protect the rims and it ends up just looking goofy IMO. And I thought the nittos look good but I cant find a picture of them on the stock wheels up close.

Sorry I don't have a pic for you & my car is put away for the winter.
I am running the Nitto Invos. I believe they also make a 555 that a lot of guys are running and like. You will be doing yourself a great favor getting rid of the runflats IMO. Made a different car out of mine!

Personally I like the protective edge on my PS2's, one rub against a curb and you will appreciate their value.

I am not bashing the PS2 at all if I were doing an aftermarket 18/19 or 19/20 setup that would be the desired tire...but they dont look good in stock sizes IMO. I saw them on a C6 and on larger wheel setups the appearance isnt an issue....i dont have the big bucks to do an aftermarket wheel setup now Repros are heavy and far to popular IMO so I am going to make do with the thinspokes for now until I can do a CCW, HRE, Iforged type of setup but that is a ways away

Consider the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's. Don't be put off by the super low cost of these tires!

Yes, 255/40-17 front, 285/35-18 rear. They're also available in stock sizes.

Thanks, I wonder if those sizes would work on stock wheels... Cant argue with a little more rubber to put down...

Yes...Fronts call for a 8.5-10" rim width. Rears call for 9.5-11" rim.

I think either of the two tires you mention would be a very good choice. I'm kind of partial to the Goodyear GS-D3s - a very highly rated tire.

I have both the PS2 and GS D-3 on our C5's
I do prefer the looks of the GS D-3
But i buy my tires based on performance and not looks.
The Ps2 is an outstanding performance tire

I also like that there is "some" rim protection with the PS-2's.
