Default wheel removal

How do I remove a wheel from my new Z06?

The lug nuts look like plastic caps - how do I get these off to get access to the real nuts?

Also, does the center piece come off?

thanks

The lug caps screw off..Lefty loosy, Righty tighty.. Then the lug nuts come off as any lug nut does.
To remove the center cap, grab it in all five lug nut slots and pull it off. :smash:

Just to add to RPO's reply...

You'll find that the platic covers are probably not on too tightly. Find the proper size socket, DON'T put it on a socket wrench, slip it over the plastic cover, and try undoing them "by hand." Since you don't need much force to get them off, you might want to go this route so as to not damage the covers.

Also, whether your just removing the tires to access something, or even if you're getting a tire replaced, you shouldn't need to remove the plastic center caps at all.
