Engine hours through DIC
Anyone know if there is a way to get engine hours through the DIC? Thanks
I only heard about after talking with my mechanic when we were trying to troubleshoot the speedometer. I told him there must be something that keeps up with the mileage because my oil life % changes even though the odomoter just quit working. He said the only life % displayed in the speedometer is based on hours driven, not mileage. He also went on to say that he could tell how many hours were on the car, so I thought there might be a way through the DIC

HOBBS manufactures many of the hour meters for commercial vehicles. They're inexpensive and could be mounted somewhere under the hood...
