Mod red interior change question

I've seen a number of cars with mod red interiors on the market combined with exterior colors which don't work for me--EB and MY.

Is there any alternative to a complete replacement of leather/interior panels or can the leather and panels just be redyed?

It would be a call to VetteEssentials.

There aren't really a number of vendors on this site. That's more of a "custom upholstry shop in your area with a good rep" sort of deal.

Crazy, I had a dream where a person I've never seen before had a C5Zo6 red like mine with mod red interior for sale (I have a red z with black) and the stiching was all pulled apart and the paint was wet sanded badly. The car was ragged out. Looked like 400k miles in a Mexican desert. I felt bad for the car in my dream.

(I secretly want a mod-red interior in my red Z)

Wonder what that meant?

Modred interior is so hot. It "makes" the c5 on the inside.

These cars have got to have the most boring interiors without the mod red. It was a must have when i was looking for one. I'm happy with it, makes it a lot sportier inside. Only works well with black/silver/white/red in my opinion.

Personally I love my ModRed with the Electron Blue. My suggestion is if you do not like it then keep shopping. Personally I would not switch out the Interior.

I agree, I wouldn't want to dye a perfectly good rare interior when there's a bunch of people that would love to have it.

Mod Red was a must for me when I was looking for my Z.

Vette Essentials, My interior used to be black and I changed it all myself. I needed to spice it up a bit.

Why oh why was the Z16 not offered with Mod Red as an option? IMHO, the 2001 SW with Mod Red is tops! The EB W/Mod Red is killer as well. I'm so tempted to find a donor car and do my Z16 in Mod Red...mabe one day.

I use Meguire's leather care on mine and it really makes the red 'pop'!!! My car spends most of the time in the garage... so the interior has no fade at all...

Are you wanting to get rid of ALL the mod red parts or only the seats?
