I love 'mod red' on red and black cars but not so much on all the other colors. However I have been tossing up the idea of doing 'mod silver' on my QS Z. I was contemplating making everything that is red in a 'mod red' interior silver plus smoothing and painting the radio/shifter bezel silver as well. If anyone has done this, even in another color, I would love to see some pics, as well as hear some opinions from you guys.
It's the best way I can think of to spruce up the interior of my Z cause its very...bland, to say the least.

Really depends on your taste. Black on black looks good interior wise., with a few accents.
I'm doing a black on black interior in my SW Z06. The mod red interior was a little to bright for my taste and planned theme.

that mod silver would look nice (in my mind's eye). At the risk of sounding like a broken record, one of the top reasons that I get wood for my Z is due to the mod red interior--It is so clean and exciting to me--I just can't get enough. I think I would be bored visually had my QS come with a black interior and all of those extra wrinkles to boot.

I like a good black interior but that's just it, to me the c5 interior is not all that good...unfortunetly

I think I'm gonna try it. It can't look horrible and if I really don't like it I can just wrap the door panels, knee bolster, and glove box in suede and paint the center bezel black again. that would look too

I don't think I would do the bezel in red. I would leave it black and to the center arm rest in Black / Red.
The C5 interior needs some work but over-all with all of the interior items available you can have yourself a fine interior for a few thousand and a top of the line one for around $10K.
I'm converting mine to all black leather / alacantra with some carbon fiber highlights.

I don't want to do the center console in red. That's way to flashy and in your face for me. I was saying I might paint the bezel silver to match the 'mod silver' door panels and knee bolster/glove box that I'm planning.
Yeah it's possible to have an awesome interior for that money but I'm on a strict modding budget If I had the extra cash to put into it the interior would stay all black but with everything wrapped in leather or suede with grey double stitching. Gotta give it to the Europeans...they know how to do interiors
