Ordered the door panel access pieces (the thing behind the door pull) today. Will pick them up Tuesday. They were missing when we got her. Also ordered the air dam/valence. That was missing when we we bought her too. I will try to post pics.

I have a silver C5 and I am adding a touch of red to the interior also. Black was just too plain. I have done the dash letters and door pulls so far. I also ordered a set of Lloyds mats and went with black with the red emblem and red piping around the edge. Just the right touch of red that stands out but is not overwhelming.

You have been very busy!! J and I put your door panels on this afternoon and a new air dam yesterday. I will try to post pics on a new thread. I haven't posted pics before. Where did you get the emblem on your steering wheel?

Check your e mail please. Sending pics was more difficult then installing the door panels! They look great.

I have been thinking about doing the gearshift boot on mine also. How difficult was that? Mid America rates it at skill level 2 in their catalog but I would prefer real world experience.

started on the seats today!!! got them out and got the original covers off of them!! took me awhile as i didnt want to mess them up since they are in really nice shape. I also got the new seat bottoms on both seats and have to stop there as the driver side bolster foam has a rip in it and until someone can help me by telling me how i would go about fixing it before i put the tops on then as of now i am stuck on the seat recovering. here are more pics of todays work

seats out of the car

all the spare change i found under the seats!

seats in the house ready to be torn apart!

tear in the side bolster that i was referring to that i need help on how to repair

seats with the new bottoms on them!

more to come!

That looks cool. Now be honest, how difficult was it to remove those really very nice looking black skins and install the new ones? I was thinking......

Bolster repair.

Carpet Pad. and duct tape. Or new foam.

I went with duct tape and pad. Not to much pad.

Did you put anything between the springs and lower seat cushion? A piece of burlap or carpet will keep the springs from cutting into the cushion?

Use a thin piece of indoor outdoor carpet will work best for the long term.Like that stuff you can glue door to concrete.
