Default Starting a Interior makeover!!

I have a 00 mag red coupe and have done my engine mods with h/c. Added bp headlights and center foglights and hids , tinted the windows, blacked out the lights.I am still going to swap out my thin spokes for a upgrade of black rims (undetermined which style as of yet!) and then everything is complete except!!!!! the interior!!!! I am switching from all black interior to mod red and black interior and upgrade the interior lights with leds as well.So i figured i would start a post about the progress as it happens along with pics as things get changed out and welcome all comments, good ,bad, and anything in between !!! so here is what it looks like now.

more interior pics to come tomorrow!!! I am looking forward to the swap and cant wait to get started!!!!

Awesome! I did a similar thing last year. I have a Z06 which had the all-black interior with the bland looking Z06 seats. I swapped to a black/oak combo and sports seats.

It's really not too difficult and I found it to be very fun work. I'm sure you'll have a great time doing this, but if you have any questions on something let us know! And be sure to post pics! Here's a before and after for my swap:

indeed i will be and the colors should be ok together. I talked with the forum vendor that is making my covers and we discussed using mag red leather with black but both came to the same conclusion that the mag red is darker against a black leather together doesnt give it the same pop as mod red does so i am going with the mod red the seat leathers and accents are done and i received pics of them from him and i should be getting them in about a week and will start the leather transformation.here is pics of the interior package i am putting in that i got from the forum vendor here.Oh and the vendor is DJ Motorsports which i feel needed a plug for doing great work!

Did you paint/dye the lower doors and trim or did you replace it? Looks great! I'd like to do something similar to change my black on black.

Good luck with the interior. Should really make the car stand out.

thanx i wanted to try something a lil different from the norm that also fits my personality and hopefully will not be too little or too much but just enough to make the interior pop!

I replaced the door panels entirely. I didn't really trust the idea of using the dyes.

gitusum, my seat skins are from dj motorsports also and they are doing extremely well after 7000 miles. I expect your seats will be every bit as good.

I just switched out my gray interior to black. I was amazingly surprised at the ease of the change. My C4 was a PITA when I replaced the interior in it.
