No need to put a C5 on jack stands. The tires will not get flat spots like the older tires on the early C's. The battery tender is all you need. Did you chg your oil & filter? If not do that before you store & some guys add stabil to a full tank of gas. That's it. Let her sleep w/a nice clear cover and wait for spring..
The springs will probably take a while to settle again after such a long period, but I agree with the previous reply..tires nowadays a pretty good at not getting flat spots...maybe just move it forward a few inches and back again every so often to make sure.
No you won't hurt it but there no point in doing it unless you plan on working on the car this winter. Pump a few extra pounds into the tires and be done with it.
get that c-5 out and drive it once in a while, even in winter. The hardest thing on a Vette is to let it sit. The seals dry up, the brakes screw up, and its hard on the motor-trans etc......... not to be ran! The injectors even get deposits built up not to mention the fuel gage sending unit. Unless its just for show it needs to be driven! How will it know you love it if you don't take it out some?

I would not want the brake lines stretched in the down position for an extended period of time. Rather store everything in the normal position. Never know what effect it may have on things like rear end seals.
Ideally, you would not let the car sit idle at all!
If you aren't going to drive, just pump an extra 15 psi into each tire and put tire on plastic or wood. I usually just put a sheet of plastic under the entire car to prevent condensation from the concrete floor.
I wouldn't put it on jackstands for any length of time since you are exposing parts of the shock that don't normally get exposed. Any corrosion on those exposed areas and the seals will pay the price in the spring.
That is a bunch of post for less than a year/6mo. No, the tires should be ok; my dad has a Mustang in Mexico, and he drives it about one month out of the year, and the tires stay good all year round. No old rubber cracks or flat spots.

No need for Jack stands unless you want it up. The only thing I would do over and above is put a little piece of carpet under each tire to help with condensation from the concrete floor and some type of rodent prevention under the hood and in the interior.
park on a poly tarp to keep moisture away from the frame
pump up the tires to the side wall max
IF REALLY REALLLY **** then put a piece of 2 inch thick pink styrofoam insulation under each tire...
The styrofoam will distort under the weight and evenly distribute that weight over a much broader area.
