I don't know about ECS but I can speak about Chucks tunes. My car is not a C5 but I was hating life with my A6. The shifts were slow and it took forever for the trans to make a gear selection. Did a little research and found that Chuck really knows his stuff when it comes to automatics. Do yourself a favor and get it tuned so you can really enjoy the car. It will shift faster than any standard transmission and make for a really enjoyable experience!

I went with the Chucky Cow tune! My vette is kicking *** now. I have to dyno it and run it on the track to get actual numbers but its really fast. I mean it has been the best christmas present i have given myself. Everyone that tests drives it is really scared to nail it to WOT. All my friends are really impressed. I am running the 2.73 highway gears by the way. The really impressive results for me was the triple digit speed performance. Above 100 the performance is unbelievable. One of my friends liked is so much he wants to take his super charged Hummer to Chucky in Feb. when he comes down to Miami.

Here are some recent threads in regards to our mail order tunes, we feel we offer a very thorough tune, without an extravagant price. We have had such an overwhelming response to our $149 special, that we decided to simply make it our std pricing. That way you have no need to rush like crazy to get it done, we will always be here when your ready.
We also deduct the mail order tune pricing from any future upgrades or tuning done here at ECS.

We have spent the time on our dyno and at the track to make sure the tune is actually giving you the proper results, with actual data to back that up.
We also do not do things like change the throttle rates, this is a way of basically fooling the customer into thinking the mid range has been increased, when in actuality, your electronic throttle is just opening more at the same position then it did before. I believe the term for this is "seat of the pants" faster, but it's just a placebo.
When your ready for real HP, ECS will be there for you, with the the most competitive pricing to boot!

I had my car tuned by Chuck Cow and I am very happy. I have an A4 with 3.42 and a TC and after the tune the Car drove a million times better... and when I mean better I mean faster cooler and much more snappy.........
Just do a search and you will finds a ton of happy customers. There is a reason why everyone calls him the BEST Corvette Tuner around.....

cow's work is great. if you mail in you will get a great tune and a safe one at that. He doesnt go crazy with it. If you meet him in person and can do the "wide band" tune then you will get an even better tune dialed in to your car. get it,,,you wont regret it

Never did business w/ECS but heard some very positive things,they seem to be very dedicated and I've seen some of the packages they have put togather,powerful and reliable can't say much more than that..I have however dealt w/the chuckster of Corvettes of Westchester (COW) and what he brings to the table is second to none a delight to do business with,knows theory and application been doing this a long time so plenty of hands on experience,but not too old so he's not burned out,still attacks every job with the enthusiam of a little kid ...this guy loves what he does and he does it better than anybody else...knowledge,passion for his craft,and a sense of fairness....theres a reason everybody that does business with him is satisifed I won't say other tuners arn't good but I will say with all conviction there is none better than Chuck

Most of what I'm reading are guys with automatics who are thirilled with the results.

Mod all you can afford and TUNE. The tune will SYNC all the mods with the PCM.
Ive had expierencies with NUMEROUS TUNERS and have my prefferences. PM me if you need my recommendations.

I can't speak for ECS, But I have to say the Chuck CoW tune turned my car into a new beast, The throttle response is fantastic, It shifts like it should, No CEL at all and best of all Chuck is always available to answer questions.
With my tune my car does things I didn't know was possible.
And he ships over night.... Sent mine on a Monday had it back Thursday and installed.
