If I remember correctly, I've seen pics of a plate like that on a battery den cover.

I had a great one in my C5 Z06 that went on the center console. It was small and went on the console next to the active handling button. Very classy and OEM looking. PM me if you want the website...

I don't have a picture, but I have seem them centered on the top of the windshield crosspiece over the mirror.
