Mildly modded Z06s. (H/C,bolt ons) If you added a 90/90 or 92/90 to your set up, was it worth the cost?

When my car was an H/C, full bolt-on 346, I picked up 15 rwhp after adding an unported Fast 90/90 and updating the tuning.

I am with this guy.. On my 2000 Z28 i run a G5X3,LS6 heads,3600 stall, bigger injectors (SVO30).. added a FAST 90/90 and gained 16 to the wheels... Typically for larger cubed motors... the FAST will work well with your H/C... DO IT!

Thanks for info. I'm gonna try to pick up a used set up if I can before I jump in with both feet on a new one.

I sold mine about 4 months ago, and the guy said he got 25 RWHP with just the FAST manifold/LS2 TB. My manifold was ported by Cartek, BTW, and the TB was stock.

You gotta be a crackhead to sell a FAST/TB for that. I got $550, and traded for a stock LS6 setup.

Definitely worth it. Not just for the 12-20 hp gain but throttle response is ALOT better. I have an LS2 tb with driveby wire I am going to sell. Only reason for selling is because I picked up a TPIS ported 90.

I haven't made it to the dyno yet but during tuning we definitely had to add some fuel meaning it was a bit lean after the intake swap. Also I would recommend porting the LS2 TB if that's what you go with. There's a lot of material right in front of the blade that needs to go.

I ground that lip down on the throttle body and we had to add more fuel to mine when retuning, but it didn't show any measurable gains for me on the dyno or at the track...I'm chalking it up to my small 218* cam/75mm maf
