The difference is a few scratches 
I'm sure someone will respond who knows the exact measurements, but the chin spoiler will make it pretty low to the ground. If you also have your Vette lowered, then you might run into some clearance issues when going up driveways and speed bumps.

I don't plan on lowering it at all. I don't understand why people do to begin with. Hmm,wheel gap vs crappy ride,clearance issues and scrapping on the slightest little thing everywhere you go? I think I'll take my wheel gap

Thanks....but lowering does have it's advantages...lowers center of gravity, looks awesome and it doesn't take a lot of extra effort to be careful when going up driveways etc...but then everybody has a different opinion as to what looks better...and the good thing about Vettes is that you can always raise the car up again if it doesn't suit you and it's free
