Had/have the Altec painted version. Removed the front, much too low and drag on EVERYTHING. Made it very difficult to manuver in parking lots with speed bumps and sometimes when pulling into traffic from parking areas w/pronounced drain curbs.
They can be "removed" over any major hump, bump, or dip in a heartbeat.
The rears are vunerable when backing also.

Reason: spelling
I would rather be stripped naked and dragged across a desert of broken glass, than put those ridiculous looking things on my car, dont mean to offend anyone!

I'll be happy to volunteer my car to do the dragging
Someone I know from Bay Area recommended Autoxtc to me and I will never go back, the whole time I was there the mechanic I think his name was juan or john kept hitting on me. That is unprofessional and bad for business, it's a good thing my husband didn't come with me.
The time will come,Rachel, when you will reminisce fondly about the days when men used to hit on you.
I just threw up in my mouth. Not a fan of those at all.
I was beginning to think this was a bad joke, thanks Maiden for agreeing and getting sick with me. I am really surprised how many people like mud flaps, mud flaps are for trucks that drive in the mud, thats why they are called mud flaps. A nice set of super swampers would help to not get stuck in the mud. F$&*#@% mud flaps, I have to stop now!
Glad you guys like the look of chewed up rockers more than something to stop it. Many cars come with mudguards like this from the factory today-beats having chewed up paint.

I would rather paint my car monthly, then have those things on my car. Do you have a half inch of silicone rubber on your windshield? If a rock hits your windshield than you fix it, if a few rocks hit your rockers than you fix it. If you are so worried about little rock chips, put your car in a bubble and just look at it, Vettes were ment to be driven, so go drive yours, and the next time you are at a stop light and the guy next to you is looking at your car, he is not looking at your car, he is in shock trying to understand why someone would put MUDFLAPS on a corvette!!!
The rockers take the most beating of any body panel, especially if you ever drive in gravel. Look at your windshield vs. your rockers. I'll take the mud guards anyday vs. chewed up rockers.
