I wonder what the penalty would be if they were found by the Highway Patrol?
I would think these are better than having just a Detector
JWMotoring - HOW MUCHY?

Those blend in real nice with the Tigershark front. Very stealth.
Thanks for your order and posting up. Now I have a thread to direct customers to for installed pics.
Yea JW these work really great the first time i never even seen the leo he was between two cars i tapped the brakes and switched it to parking sensor mode his gun never left my car
Funny story with the purchase of my 99 Coupe this past November.
I bought her on a Saturday afternoon. Coincidentally, the KSU/KU football game was going on in town. Well, suffice to say there was tons of LE in town to take care of the traffic flow, etc. It was a beautiful day.. sunny, warm... Perfect for enjoying my life long dream.
Later that evening, the significant other and I were headed out of town (after the game) to get a bite to eat. Believe me, I was not hot rodding. Because of the high deer density in the particular area we were going, I was closely following a pickup.
Well, out of the blue. I saw the lights. Yes, we got stopped by a cop and went through the road side sobriety test (I had 2 beers during the previous 2 hours watching the game on TV at a bar). I passed the blow test (.04) but because I was so nervous I failed miserably with the various tests on the side of the road. Long story short, he still wrote me a ticket for speeding (64 in a 55). Next day, I purchased a high end radar detector.
I would be interested in installing a laser jammer. Is it hard to install?
Thanks for reading my long winded post. People laugh when they hear I got a speeding ticket on the very day I got my car.

It's a parking sensor as well as a jammer. Blinder suggests switching over to parking sensor mode when you're hit with laser (after slowing down) to allow a reading on the gun. This will prevent suspicion of the device being used.
Installation in a C-5 is fairly simple. The hardest part is picking a place to send the wires through the firewall. Now on a C-6, this is a nightmare, locating a place to bring them through...something I can state from experience.
Very nice install. I recently had a conversation with a local LEO and he told me all of the local and the staties are using instant on. My question is, does the system automatically switch over to parking sensor mode, and if so, is it fast enough to trip the instant on laser up?

Not to be a smart Azz but I thought all laser was instant on. A question for JW is this an Escort system that only works with their detector or will it work with a V1?

It does not automatically change modes. Its a manual switch that you mount in whatever desired location that you can easily touch. The parking sensor mode allows it to signal you as you are pulling into the garage for example and something you might run into. It does not start signaling till you are about 12 inches away, then beeps faster if you get closer.
The system is a stand-alone system. It has its own detector and transmitting modes therefore a V1 or Escort is not needed. Its nice to have them anyway.
