Default Ready for Change?

Just want to know, given the current state of the economy and your personal financial situation, has anyone considered trading their Z on a newer model, and if not why not?

Nope,I never trade.I sell and buy.

I'm very happy with my 02C5Z.Paid for, great shape & 3 more years on the extended GMPP.

The only time I would consider selling mine is if I win one of the raffles at the NCM.

Nope, not selling ever. I finally got the car where I want it looks and performance wise. I still favor the looks of the C5 FRC body style over the C6 and I don't ever see that changing.

The body style of the C5Z is the big reason that I wouldn't consider trading for a C6 or other body style. I think that the C5Z may begin to appreciate in value over time. Performance-wise, modifications to the C5 will put it in a league with most other perfomance models in the C6 line-up. Personally, I just can't get excited about the C6 styling, with the exception of the Gran Sport convertible. My C5 seems to "fit the bill", and I will undoubtedly sell my C5 Vert but keep the Z for the long run. The perfomance of the C6 with an additional 100 or so HP is a real temptation, though. How about transplanting the C6 motor in the C5 after about 200,00 miles or so?

I Considered it for a second, than drove mine and reminded myself how awesome this car is! Doesn't hurt that it's paid for and to go into debt for no more Additional performance NA!!

Im still in love with the FRC body style myself. It stands out on the road against other C5s and C6s. IMO the C6Z looks too much like the Grand Sport and ZR1 to actually stand apart, especially the GS. I hope to keep mine for a long time especially since its paid for!!
