Kooks Headers
Hey everyone especially those with Kooks headers and Borla Stinger exausts. Perhaps this is a stupid question but can I expect an even deeper, richer exaust tone if I install Kooks long tube headers and x-pipe? I already have the Borla stingers on my 02 vert. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks to all.

Does that increase in volume go for the other well known brands of headers as well?
I've got Borlas, no headers, and LOVE the sound.
Wouldn't mind a bit louder, but don't really want LOTS louder.
Any brand of header quieter than the others?

Any headers you get will make it quite a bit louder, and though you mention not being really after horsepower, the louder they are usually the more you really feel it through the pedal, and it can be a significant difference.
I will say that Lingenfelter built my motor and recommended Kooks as their first choice in headers. I went with 'em and love 'em (and personally don't think they're too loud).
