I would not waist your time with that mod. Have you center console modded for a double din and go buy a quality aftermarket nav unit. The c6 nav is kinda cheap, plus it would be a pain in the a$$ to make it work properly in a c5.

I traded up to a 08Z and absolutley hated the c6 Nav. Why would you want it? I despised it. It is way behind what the aftermarket offers. I had a Garmin unit on the window if that tells you anything!! I just bought an 04Z and had Dennis and Chris do my bezel for a DD install of a Kenwood 6140.

I have a Kenwood unit that would work much better then the C6 nav for sale. Uses Garmin GPS, maps, works great.
