IHRA rules for vert??

Default IHRA rules for vert??

Hi
can anyone tell me what the IHRA rules are for street c5 convertible going under 11´s on 1/4 mile say for example 10.99

is it only 4pt roll bar ???
is that all?
what about other things ?

please if anyone know this come in...

Not sure about IHRA, but NHRA you would need a 5 point roll bar and arm restraints. And a fire jacket with a power adder.


I forgot to mention a 5 point harness also.

on our track we drive after IHRA rules....
i´m running N/A c5 convertible need to no what changes need to be done to go down to 10.99 so i´m legal there..

The sanctioning body should have the rules published-get a copy of the rules!

I always thought the IHRA rules were more strict than that of NHRA. Especially for verts.

I suppose I misunderstood because I was under the impression that 11.49 and below needed a full cage and jacket. Trap speed has something to do with it too.

What's your trap speed? ~125ish?



This is why I stick to private track rentals

This is why I stick to private track rentals
i was told here i only needed 4pt roll bar after going under 11.5 down to 10.0 sec. and nothing else......:o

but i thing it´s more there..
justed wanted to see if somebody here on the forum could tell me how the rules really are ................. for me.
