I have talked to the owner of my company and we are going to fit my corvette with the vinyl for my vette. sorta the test pilot and we can make different colors as well so if enough people are interested in buying it if it works out ok then i have also discussed with the owner of becoming a vendor on here to sell it cut to fit but it has to be enough interest in it to do it toget vendor status and if not hey i got mine done for free !!!!

That sounds cool. One thing about the earlier ones you may not be aware of, it came as 3 pieces; a left, a right, and a piece for over the pipes....also, the vents were long thin strips of vinyl just for that area...the whole thing was kind of hoaky, and that is why it was so hard to deal with. If you can figure a way to make it no more than 2 pieces I think it would be a hit. And in different colors it is the bomb!
i think we can get it done in 1 piece

That would be very interesting,,especially if it was in the busted budget range!! $400 is beyond insane IMO for a piece of plastic!! I know there are development and tooling cost,,but material cost should be next to nothing!! Hopefully vinyl could actually be affordable!!There are a lot of us working class vet owners out there!!

i am sure we should be able to do it in a 1 piece vinyl and using my corvette to get the specs and then getting the deisgners to get a file for it is the hard part i am thinking.once it is perfcted in the right size then it should fit all C5s. it should be very doable and affordable.
