Just bought a lowering bolt kit and a set of Bilstein Sport strut/shocks last night from Zip corvette. I was almost going to buy a set of PFADT coilovers, but I don't track the car and figured it would be over-kill.

For a price of around $375.00 it's an awesome deal, I really didn't want to lower the car on stock shocks. Can't wait to get the stuff in, I'll make sure to take pictures when it's installed.

Congrats on your new purchases!

For those of you considering coil-overs, I use the DRMs and they're great

Not sure which is cheaper, but w/e.

I'll probably go with the PFADT's later on. For now I just wanted to get it low with out sacraficing the ride quality too much.

Yeah, but I use the DRM coil-overs. They're awesome.

I never really considered anything else only because I got a really good deal on them from a friend.

I run the LG GT2 coilovers w/ PFADT bars. Works great.

Comments like these are why I'm getting Pfadts installed on my 2003 Z06 this spring!

You will LOVE them ! They are height adjustible so you can set the height on each wheel eaxtly where you want them and they have 16 damper adjustments to get the ride just right for your use. And if you are really **** you can corner balnce the car with them and the right suspension shop to help with the scales !!!

Since you completely remove the stock springs you have REAL 4 wheel independent suspension !

I've been working with a shop recommended by Pfadt and they have told me the exact same things (their mechanics race their vettes on tracks, so they have real-world experience to back up their comments). I'm going to have them do the install...I considered doing it myself, but when they talked about the corner balancing, all the adjustments, alignment and that they typically spend a total of 6 hours installing and setting up the Pfadt system, I think i'll leave it to the pro's. I can't WAIT to get the beast out of storage and get the Pfadt's on. Hopefully spring comes early this year!

I have had Pfadt coil overs on two C5 Z06's and it is the best money I have spent on mods.
Perfect ride height and stiffness to suit the track or street and NO MORE MID CORNER hopping from the rear end!

If you are not going to track the car don't corner balance it you will never tell the difference on the street - it's not a good expenditure of your hard earned $$$.

In stead, after you have it set to the height you want make sure your sway bars are neutral and have the car professionally aligned - all 4 wheels, this you will feel on the street + save tire wear !
