I'm ordering new rims with tire pressure sensors for my TrailBlazer SS and it's $200 for all four. I can check with my son, he's a service writer at a Chevrolet dealership.

It's probably the battery that is bad. Do a search and there are posts on replacing them.

I believe the batterys are only replaceable on the early sensors (1997 - 2000) and even then it may not be something you can do your self.
Here's a copy the prices from Gene Culley's GM Parts house one on the Forum sponsors.
2001-2004 Sensors
25773946 - sensor – 40.19 each
15234846 - nuts – 3.73 each
Total setup of 4 is 192.90 shipped
Note: The sensor comes with the washer and valve stem cap.
Setup includes: 4 sensors, 4 washers/o-rings, 4 caps and 4 nuts.
1997-2000 Sensors

Total setup of 4 is 430.11 shipped

I checked with my son and he has no idea. I think he said that because I woke him up.

Just installed new tires and wheels. Discount Tire charged $30 to re-build my old sensors.

I think if you were to check closely that "rebuild" is actually just a new exterior nut, valve stem, cap and perhaps an o'ring if you have the old style sensors (new style does not have a serviceable o'ring). I had them want to do that when I put new rear tires on and I declined the extra expense ( $7.50 per wheel).
