Default Just a friendly hello!

hey all just saying how is going? i havnt been on in a while and just saying whats up! well vette had an accident..... there was about a 3ft x 3ft piece of sheet metal on i35 and lets just say my vette wanted to eat it! i was driving to work going meh around 70ish and the car in front of me went right over and didnt touch it......until the vette did...... lets just say thank god for insurance! grand total $4800! i paid about 100 only because of certain wording to insurance or it would of been 250! amazing how one sentence you say can save you so much money! (if u hit something on the road just say it fell out of a truck and you had no time to react! and it doesnt count as a collision.) anyways frank para did a great job put new front nose radiator etc etc and best thing is i was gonna have nose buffed out and made to look pretty instead i got a whole new one! hahahha just blah! car is good and running in march im gonna start looking for new set of tires and exhaust! (tired of both that i have!) if suggestion post em! thanks guys!

Sorry about the accident but glad you are OK and that the car is repaired. Beautiful '03 you have there.

Glad no one was hurt and it looks as good as new. Love that color.
You will get a lot of opinions on tires & exhaust... I am running Nitto Invos & GHL cat back. Muscular tone. :thumbs

Glad you're OK and the car is back to tip top shape. Looks Great!
I have the Michelin Run Flats. Much improvement in ride over the stock Good Years. I also have Corsa Pace Car exhaust. I would highly recommend them both...............................Dave

Congrats on the outcome,,sounds like you did well. She looks GOOD!! For exhaust,,kinda a personal preference thing!! LOUD,,Borla stingers. There is GHL,,and a mellower little higher pitched(but quieter) exotic sound there are Corsa Touring (a little less loud) or Corsa pace car,,a little more "authoritative"or forceful sounding quiet! Coursa and GHL are said to not drone on the highway,,,most DO report some drone in the cabin with Borla. Me I like Michelin sport ZP(runflats).

It must have been a bit unnerving.

Looks like they did a great job.

Statefarm here too man. That's good to know in case (God forbid) I get into a predicament. How soon are you looking to get the exhaust?

Definitely not. I slapped my catback on at a muffler shop in Irving that has a drive-on lift. You can actually do it yourself if you can get the car in the air enough.
