Default Just great...

So I had my left side DRL and park light go out, so I figured it would be a good time to upgrade and go with some switchbacks, Got them today, plugged them in, and right side looks great, left side still doesn't work.. so I thought wtf, I checked fused, everything was fine. Until I pulled on the harness some and the light came on... Upon further inspection the harness had managed to slip down next to the radiator support rail and on one of the random times I've rubbed while getting outa the drive way the wires became severed. So I've got my whole front end torn apart trying to chase wires and fix the problem. Sorry for the rant, just needed to vent lol.

I don't blame you,,I've been there on more occasions than I care to remember. I drive mine a lot and seems like every time I clean her up I find a new nick or scratch.I feel your frustration.Have a beer,,take a deep breath and go at it again with fresh enthusiasm!! Take solace in the fact that A:you found it and B: nothing real serious!! Good luck with the fix!!

Thanks, I'll probably leave her apart tomorrow, go do some Ice fishing with Pops, and attack it with fresh eyes on wednesday.

Hey Jon! Sorry for your troubles.
Ice fishing is a great calmer of frayed nerves.

Soldering iron, shrink tubing and zip ties, bradda.
But you know that drill...

Take Care

Ice fishing with a flask full of butterscotch schnapps is even better, don't ask about the choice in liquor, call it a family tradition, I would much rather have some Jack, but hey, the old man still makes the rules when it comes to the Fishing lol...

Good luck getting the wires spliced and the car back together. It's the little things that can be so frustrating.

Not Necessarily a difficult task, just time consuming.
