ok.... i have a 97 C5....... never had any headlight issues......
till 3 days ago i installed HID conversion..... now..... i have to turn
the head light switch 3 or 4 times to get the buckets to raise up.
it is annoying as hell . was thinking of unplugging the bucket motor
plugs again and tossing in some dialectric greese........ ?? figured got some
dirt in the plugs and getting bad contact... any other suggestions ?
thanks,
Should be able to get the fuses at your local auto parts store. the resistor is used for when your headlights won't go down without turning them on bright first. JW correct me if I am wrong, but this is what I put the resistor on mine for.
My 97 came with HID's too and I have to do mine twice and they always go up. Annoying, but annoying enough to fix it. Will anything bad come from this if I don't fix it?

You might be flashing them on and off too much which is supposed to decrease life, but I flash my fogs all the time and they've been going strong for 1.5+ years.
