An additional increase is to slightly modify 9005 bulbs (high beam) to go in the low beam sockets. Takes about 1 minute and combined with SilverStars 9005 you will see a BIG difference.

To the OP's question, that's for the hi-watt version, correct? That would total $260 plus labor time, which really is apples and oranges vs. $25 for a pair of pop-in SilverStars, isn't it?

To the OP, if you can, find a set of Toshiba HIR's and do the high into low mod on them. It's the best light you will get on the road for the price.
