Default Longtube Header Help!

Okay here we go, please help me out, there is so many, and prices are all over the place. So whichever one i go with, keep in mind. it will be catless, sense im going to stock TIs anyway.(and members said its not that loud, what so ever and idle is not to much louder then stock). so here we go these are the brands im thinking about so far..if there are better brands or sizes i should do for more power or so on, please let me know. Just need your true life HP numbers or mods or which ever you liked disliked, what sizes i shouldnt do or should (but i will be over 450hp one day, so figure i should do the pro(3inch) with w.e brand i do)..thanks ahead of time! also keep in mind i only do street racing usually highway at night safe i promise!no passenger, and sometimes new england dragway, just incase people know if some headers make different kinds of power during powerban.

Kooks the 3inch
LG-pro series these bolt to the TIs also right?
LG-street series

now question is are there better ones that are same price that will yield more power? and is there a big power difference between the streets and pros from LG? because the price is way different lol, i also plan on doing cam+ down the road so maybe streets arnt a good idea?i dunno!! LOL, help me out here lmao..last question i wil have i swear lol
PS.. if i just do the LG pros with intake and tune for awile before other mods..will i lose power cause its so much bigger then the steets? any help will b e verrry apprecaited

Damn, you're hard to understand, but here goes..... I've got LG Pros, and they didn't even have the streets available at the time. If I was building a H/C, or cam only (remember, this motor only has one cam) I would buy the LG Streets. I bet the HP difference is no more than 5 or less, and unless you're going to add a power adder, the 1.75" primaries are ideal for a 346.

i know-i know, im horrible with english, sorry and i will try my best lol!
also, would i lose power if i go with the pros sense im not doing big power mods for a little while, i dont want to lose power with the pros since i will be staying with a header.xpipe and stock ti's and intake with tune for a little bit! (assuming pros bolt to the stock TIs)thanks again!

ya but dont pros give more power...and if im planning on doing cam plus, down the road wouldnt pros be smarter.. because i understand with just headerback intake tune the streets will be okay, maybe pros give tiny bit more hp then aswell i guess its minimal but no cat pros i guess are having awsome results! but with more mods down the road i just dont know..please help lmao! or rec other brands aswell..people just seem to like anything from LG so..

I have the lg streets with off road x pipe, with my stock ti catback. Heads, cam, intake, injectors u/d pulley, and the car just put down 477hp and 418 ft/lb tq. I assume you plan on doing similiar upgrades. I really dont see the LG pros making much more hp. And definitely not enough to justify the $600 or so difference

I'd say, why leave extra HP on the table when installing a set of headers. It's the same amount of labor involved. Go with the Pro's over the streets. You won't be needing the Super Pro's until your at serious HP numbers.

This is about where I would call it quits for the Street Series.

From what I have seen here at the shop they will support about 450-475 rwhp pretty easily and be close to the Pro's. The Pro's at a car making 475 rwhp would typically make about 10-12 more with the bigger pipes, but a lot of that is going to depend on the setup and what heads, cam...so on and so forth.

For the price, it is very hard to beat the LG Street Series.

What about ease of installation?

Is it almost as simple as remove the manifolds and bolt on the headers?

Is it welded or do you use clamps?

All of our systems are completely bold on. The guys in the shop can do it in about 1 1/2hrs on a lift, most can do it at home with hand tools in 3-4 hrs.

You do not have to move the engine, you don't have to pull the steering components, you do not have to jack the engine up. Just a un-bolt and replace operation.
