Spped Odometer
I got in the vette today and started off. To my suprise when I looked at how fast I was going saw my Speed Odometer Pegged...what would cause this. It stays pegged!

Speed sensor unit is located on the top right of the differential (between the rear wheels). It's possible you have a short in that harness, the sensor is damaged or has failed. The wiring runs from the sensor on top of the diff and joins the main harness that runs on top of the torque tub to the PCM, etc.
