ignition bezel cracked
the black bezel around my ignition has a large crack in it. Where can I get a new one without spending an arm and a leg? also, has anyone seen them in anything else but black?

check the C5 parts for sale section, there is usually some onme parting out a C5 . Generally their prices are lower than a Corvette specialty recycle shop...

Not really your question, but if it is just cracked, or cleanly broken, you could get some glue or body-filler, work it back to shape and just paint it. If you are anywhere near careful you can make it so there is no sign of a repair.
Just a suggestion......and some fun as well. I love DIY projects

Its a cheap part. The only problem is you need to take the console out to replace it.
I refurbished my old one using milliput when it cracked but I now have a new one waiting to go on.
There's a black wire attached to the part that needs unclipping and refitting on the new one so be careful as you pull the dash
Try the Vette Essentials website for how to do that

spray with a flat black paint

I had to get a quote for this part recently as well. Gene Culley said it was $14.08. Part number: 2852046
