Default NEED HELP!! Light Rubbing!

Hello everyone, I need to know how to adjust my light so that it does not rub. I tried to locate the adjustments but could not find any. Can anyone help?

Not sure how to adjust it, but I have a few questions. First, how long as it been rubbing? Second, is it rubbing on the hood? Third, is that a hood seal I see at the front of the hood? I know when I installed my hood seal my hood was a tighter fit when closing. Could that be an issue?

Its been rubbing for about a month. Yes its rubbing against the hood. And yes thats a hood seal. But the seal has been on for about a year with no problems. So im kinda baffled on how my light could get out of line.

It really doesn't look far enough out of line to rub. Have you recently done any mods under the hood in that area?

If that doesn't work follow the adjustment procedure attached.

I'd check the pivot points on the headlight for wear.

Also maybe the hood moved slightly and needs to be re-adjusted.

What do the gaps look like up by the fenders at the windshield?

all good points. The headlamp cover is catching on opening

Those instructions from Blue 92 are great.

With the headlights down open the hood

Remove the 2 torx screws on the rear of the cover (#15 torx IIRC).

Raise the headlamp doors. Go all the way to on and back off to park to kill the headlights while you work.

Remove the 3 screws on the black bezel (one on one side and two on the other).

Loosen the torx screws on the side of the cover.

You can adjust the position of the cover within the hole by adjusting the position as you tighten the screws. Fit the side screws first and get the fore and aft position right. Fit the rear screws last.

Check for the fit. You may need to do it a few times to get it right.

To me it looks like the rear brackets are allowing the cover to shift backwards. Can you ease them in a little? You don't have washers on the rear torx screws by any chance? If so remove them and it will fit tighter (ie more forward).

I fitted Euro lights so I've had mine off more times than you can shake a stick at.
