C5 z06 doesn't start---help---
how you guys doing, you probably here this alot, but i trully need some help. here is a summary of what is going on with my z06.
my vats key broke in 1/2 about 1 year ago, but i continued to use it by inserting the broken half in the ignition permanently and i would carry the chip part with me.
recently when i would insert my half of the key in the ignition and try to start the car nothing would happen so i would continue to try and turn the key and maybe after the 6th time the car would start,so i thought that mybe my vats key was dirty and that was that, but yesterday i went to turn it on and all i would here is a slight hummmmming in the front passenger area and that was that the car did not start at all. heeeeellllllllllpppppp????????
all the panel lights start right up, the radio works, the lights work fine, i bought a new battery and it reads 12.4 volts, i also bought a new key with the proper resistor but still it did not start. i think it's the starter, please give me some advise, i hope it's a small and quick problem. please advice??????????????????????? send me advice to "luis@cinelease.com" thanks.
