What to offer ????
Found a 01 MY Z06 with 75K miles and bald tires. No accident history and no evidense of paint work. Car is good condition but needs detailing. What is a fair offer? What are these cars going for at auction? Thanks

An 01 in excellent condition with low miles (less than 40k) are selling for around 22-23K.
4 tires will run you about a grand. I would deduct for the higher mileage and time and prep to get the paint looking new.
All things considered I would guess around 17K. I would look around if I were you. There are plenty of Zs in better condition for just a few thousand more!

I'm looking for a less expensive vette to daily drive. I figured the mileage would help get the price lower. It would make a nice car and I already have a set of Alcoas with new Toyos I can install. Then I would plan on selling the cars original wheels to help offset.

It would have to be pretty rough to get it for 15...
My '01 has 68k although it's in great shape... I'd never allow it to sell for $17k... but then again, it's not for sale.

With that mileage, I would not offer any more that $17,000.
Be patient. If you have the cash, money talks. Try low ballin and see what happens.

I made a lower offer but he's got somebody that wants to look at it Saturday that will pay more. I'm hoping the other guy is just blowing smoke or can't get the money. The owner said if the other guy chokes then he'll most likely take my offer.

Bought my 02, 2 owner black Z with 29k on it for $18,800 in November - Flawless condition and bone stock. I wouldn't pay more than $15-16k for this car, if I were you. There are better deals out there, you just have to be patient and diligent.
