Default c5 zo6 heads

I'm just doing research right now and I'm looking to make the most power. So far my list is GHL bullets, kooks LT, with off road x pipe, g5s3 cam. Now I'm looking for the best heads to go with this set up. The cars going to stay all motor and its a dd. Thanks for the help. Goal is 500-550rwhp

You're not gonna make 500 - 550 RWHP out of a 346. Even with fully ported 243 or AFR or TFS heads milled down to 59cc,(flycut pistons too) with a ported FAST 92/90 the best you're looking at with a G5X3 cam and all the bolt on's ( EWP, UP) with a perfect tune is probably around 475-490 RWHP on avg.

I'm fine with 475-490 rwhp the 500-550 is just a long term goal. So what heads you recommend also what you think about the fast. Lsxr 102mm.

You have a C5 Z06 correct? If you're planning on FI down the road then I would recommend the TFS heads because of their thicker deck and better clamping surface. Talk to Brian at TEA (they machine and port all the Trickflow heads). The 220 as cast heads only need $ 200 of work to equal the flow of the CNC 215's and you're still 500 bucks below the cost of the 215's. I am getting my Z06 heads fully CNC ported to stage 2 levels in the spring with 59cc chambers ( static comp 11.3 with GM MLS gaskets)... with a Futral F13 cam and a ported 92/90. Pretty much equal to the 215's power wise within a few hp and tq. Perfect as long as you're staying NA. Shooting for 450-460 rwhp.

BTW dont know much about the FAST 102mm. Id stick with a FAST 92mm!

I'm looking at LG's 225 heads. Like I said its a zo6 and its going to stay N/A. Looking to make the most power with out really getting into the motor. Future mod list GHL bullets, kooks LT headers with off road x pipe, G5X3 cam, not sure which intake, throttle body and trying to find the perfect heads for the most power.

I believe you mean LG's AFR 225's ? Well buddy you need long tubes and an air intake ( vararam etc..) BEFORE you touch the heads/cam.. Doing a H/C IS getting into the motor, so I dont understand what you mean by that comment... If ur just gonna do headers and an air intake ur only looking at maybe 35 rwhp at most total. Anyway, good luck to you pal.

AFR 225 HEADS are too big for a 346.

Well the small chamber AFR 225 heads can work with a 346, if you got 11.1 ++ comp, 3.90/4.10 gears with a very healthy cam, but.....

AFR 205 or the new 215 heads would be a better choice

that much hp and 3.90/4.10 gears are you will just spin your tires, not go forward as fast as you want. With all that HP and TQ stick with a 3.42 rear end and you will fly

Depends on your budget, I have that cam and can tell you, like others have said, you're def not gonna make that kinda power. AFR's are ideal but port and deck your 243's for cheap and that sucker will still fly with that cam.
