I just got a 99 C5, Anything I should look for or know about it. I have a57,58,65,and a 66, I know about them but not to up on the newer ones. Any advise greatly appreciated.... Thanks
Over all it is a great car. Congrats! I've had my 01 since 02 with minimal problems.
Probably the single biggest problem with the C5 is the steering column locking. There is a sticky thread in the C5 tech section with more information than you'll want to know But it is worth going through.
Some of the other problems are leaking diff, some electrical gremlins here and there, but over all I think you will love the car. Very solid!

Congrats on getting a C5. There is a sticky at the top of the page on weights, measures, etc that has a bunch of useful info in it. I also have a few Word files that might help you out. If you'd like a copy of them, just PM me your e-mail address and I'll forward them to you.
Too bad they all don't fit. My 58 in an Enclosed Trailer don't drive had a body off Rotessorie off Restoration,57 &65 I really enjoy driving,66 big block Survivor almost done and ready to drive and the 99 just got haven't really driven it yet..

Well from my 1959 to my 2003 is a world of differences. Two totally unique platforms. The C5 is a amazement of both construction and packaging. It rides light years away from the 59. Much like flying a 'Jenny' compared to a F-18 Tomcat. Enjoy getting to know it. If you'd like some background reading material, read "All corvettes are Red" by James Schefter.
