Has anyone tried puting snow chains on a corvette. It sounds like fun i might try it. Any comments or suggestions, i have never delt with snow chains before. lol
i'd be real careful; if you decide to do it. all you would need is one broken link or to have the spring contractor slip or break and the damage done to the rear fender fiberglass would be monumental (don't ask how i know, lol fortunately it wasn't on one of my vettes). the things you do when you are young for "kicks", LOL!

Of course it can be done - but why in the world would it be fun?
You can't drive fast, you can't give throttle, and if you crash it for one reason or another and it was not necessary to even have it out - you'll feel like CRAP and wish you had left it in the garage
Your choice but I would rather drive my other vehicle (That's to say you do have another to drive instead of the Vette)

Might want to read the owners manual - it is certainly not recommended on the Vette. If need be, you can buy snow tires (Goodyear makes them) as well as all season tires from brands like Michelin.
