Default Does the cold affect your Corvette?

I've noticed that if I don't let me car warm up to atleast 80* (Oil temp), I will get a check engine light and it'll give me a P0300 code (H and sometimes C). But it'll go away once it's all warmed up

Default Shifts a little harder

I have a 6 speed and the only thing I notice is it's a little harder to shift until it warms up. Other than that, no.
I have started the Vette when the oil temp was at 17 degrees F and drove away, no problems.

when temps drop all i notice is a decrease in traction and lower tire pressure readings.

Yes, cold does effect my Vette. That's why I put a California Car Cover "blanket" over it all winter

I've noticed ,That while it is minor and subtle,,the little piston slap that is there when cold, goes away at about 80*!! It may be that yours is making excessive noise and may be throwing code(just a guess). Mine runs fine,,I've started and driven with oil temps close to 0*,,I just take it kind of easy till oil temps warm up close to 100*!!

I let the oil warm up when it's really cold out. HOWEVER, the car runs better than ever with all that cold air.

same here - trans stiffer until warm - also the clutch has more free play at the top until warm.

An engine's #1 enemy is heat...

Cold dense air = more horsepower!
