Default Heart Attack

Can you believe this? I had found a great deal on a set of tires and for the first time my car is about to be lifted on the rack to change the tires. Of course i'm a bit nervous, well she went up and about ten minutes later I got the shock of my life. A very nice size earthquake hit and the whole building is shaking . After an after shock or two, it started to calm down. Thank God she didn't fall. At 47 years old, I'm to old for those types of scary moments.

In California, we trade the possibility of an earthquake for the possibility of hurricane. That's a good trade off to me.

Well, with a hurricane you get a week notice or more to prepare. I would not like to be going about my business and out of the blue, a piece of building falls off and hits my head or part of my house.

Glad it wasn't strong enough to cause the car to slip off the lift. Hopefully the shocks you got are all that are coming your way.

I think it's safe to say that hurricanes have wreaked far more damage in the US than have earthquakes. I've lived here for 25 years and the worst that has happened is my bed shaking for 3 seconds. When I was living in CT, I saw plenty of tornado damaged houses.

I'll take CA, thank you!
