How do i replace my tail light

I tried searching but couldn't find a good how to. My right outside tail light went out, now I have the crazy blinker, can any one help. Thanks.

You will find two screws on the lens of each tail light... remove them and the housing will pop out rearward. Remove the bulb and replace it.

You might as well do all four.

You will need a torx t15 screwdriver to remove those screws.

Once out the bulb socket is just a 1/4 turn,,use a cloth or gloves to keep skin oil off the glass of the bulb!!

Are all 4 tail lights phillips? I'm guessing yours were replaced. I've never seen anything but the 15 torx on C5 tail lights.

I'm somewhat shocked at this entire thread.... :o

Been phillips since I have owned the car (6 years), must have been swapped out at one time for some reason. . .

Stock was torx, until I added the billet covers, now phillips chrome!

Alot of info posted here may seem silly to most of us, but I remember when I needed all the help I could get! Still do!
