We have a very clean 1989 Corvette that we are selling and I just found a very nice one owner 1997 Corvette. I was wondering what I should look for, also wondering if this was a good year or if there were any quirks I should be aware of. I also own a 2002 which I love, but the 1989 is my sons car and he wants to move up to a C5 but this is stretching the budget for him even at a 1997. Thanks ahead of time .
If he has to "stretch the budget", it'll be worth it. There's no comparison between a C4 and C5. I had an 84 before I got my 98. Big difference. As far as quirks or if it was a good year, it was a pretty consistent production run from 97 to 04. All years were good and they all had their quirks.
