you can get a C6 for that much money

but, if you're set on one of the newer c5's then personally like the vert better.. the coupe is too plain looking imo

I've always had a soft spot for convertibles, but after seeing the two side by side with tops up and down, overall I prefer the coupe. As others have stated, the storage capacity is better, you can still remove the top when you want to go topless, and on highways the wind noise reduction is a blessing But both cars are going to provide a ton of enjoyment, so either way you can't lose! ... go with the coupe

the wheels look polished to me, maybe just not shined up in the pix.

#1: are you "dealing" with private parties or a dealership?
#2: if a dealership, are the 2 cars at different dealers or the same?

if different dealers (or private parties for that matter), i'd let 'em know about the price cut on the coupe, and see what they can do w/ the vert...

good luck!!!

If you're obsessive about keeping it spotless, black is a witch to keep clean!

The Corvette makes a great daily driver with great gas mileage.

Pick the one you like the best. Congrats.

If you go with the coupe you will want the see through "moonroof".
I have that option on my C5 coupe and it's great. It gives you the feeling of being in a convertible without the wind noise and worries about raindrops on cloudy, cool, threatening rain days. ( which you get a lot of in BC) . When the windows are down it's essentially a convertible, and it's easier to lock up around town. I only take the roof all the way off on nice sunny days whan I'm out cruising for the day in the mountains , or at the beach.

I'd go for a black coupe. thats what i did. but its a major pain to keep clean. after driving 50+ miles the rear already has signs of dirt. But when the car is clean, oh boy dose it look nice.

sounds like a daily driver black coupe is asking for trouble!

in all seriousness these c5 cars are just as good a daily driver as any other car on the road? reliability and all?
