Default C5R headlights

Has anyone done this replacement and is it an EASY do it yourself job? I'd hate to pay for labor it it is easy, but I just don't want to mess it up.

I CAN'T STAND THESE FRIGGIN FLIP UPS ANYMORE!!!

Do any of you have pics?

Thanks everyone!

New here, huh? Welcome.

Do a search for TheRadioFlyer's posts on his new headlights.

Glad to help.

I think you may be very interested in George's new "Stealth" Light Cannons. He offers two different sytems. One is an HID flip version and the other is the "stealth" fixed light version. The stealth system is his newest. He just finished it in the last few weeks.

I hate the flip ups when im trying to do a top speed run at night in dense fog on a country road known for deer crossing... the aerodynamic drag is unbelievable.

If you don't mind posting a link to that thread, I'd appreciate it. Seems interesting enough and I'll take a peek.

I just don't like the idea of me needing lights one night and they decide not to flip up. Know what I mean

Just type in TheRadioFlyer in the drop down search box on the red bar near the top of the screen. Just make sure to click "search" with just his name only. When the page opens, it's about the fourth entry down from the top of the list regarding: "Stealth Light Cannons" I think he has a GB going on these now.

Just playin' around bro.. I love the C5R headlamps. My issue with them is that they do not come in body colors, otherwise, I would have a set. I know you can paint them but I've read once they've been taken apart they never seal correctly ever again... bummer.
