Although there are some pretty graphic photos, this is just the thing that people need to see. This is real life, not the movies, TV or make believe and for some reason the real stuff hurts. The cry babies say close the thread. We have people all over saying, I can handle the car and yet they get into accidents. Not that I would endorse other graphic photos, as this is not the place. But this is an auto forum and to see the aftermath of serious accidents may cause some of our reckless drivers to give it a second thought. It might help save one of our forum members lives, if it does, then it was worth it.
I can't even count how many of these I have had to go to and then break the news to a loved one......
Bottom line, you want to push your car, go to a track..
Just like 911, everyone saw it on TV, I happened to be working the day it happened and worked the cleanup, morgue, missing persons as it was real.

911 We Will Never Forget.................................. ............................
What I meant when I said that this is not the place, is lets not start posting all the time, graphic photos of accidents and we don't need graphic photos of other incidents or individual incidents because that is what the NEWS is for and links to. And I didn't mean to call any one person a crybaby. I have just found out that over the years people will shy away from the truth, due to the fact that there is so much gore on TV, that when the real thing is an issue, it's hard to fathom. A lot of times we are afraid of truth.
I respect everyone on the forum, so to everyone no matter how much or how little, how wild or how low key you drive your car..........Be SAFE.

Can't see the harm,,as long as we keep it C5 related!! Some right foot Rambo's can use a little reminder to engage the brain before going gonzo. Then factor in,,that almost all the time any coverage is local,,so the majority of the Corvette world is not aware of the loss of another Corvette. There was a case last year down in Atlanta when 2 young guys (as I recall) running from police on a rainy afternoon. They shot up a ramp to an overpass,,didn't make the turn,,blasted through the rails and crashed down onto the concrete embankment below bursting into flames,,killing them both and completely destroying the car! Talked to my sister in law down there for further info,,to see if they were just stupid kids OR running in a stolen car. She hadn't even heard about it!! Accidents DO draw out the curiosity as seen EVERY DAY on local interstates. I cannot count the times I've been a rush hour jam 5 lanes wide for a mile deep,,that amazingly thins out and returns to the speed limit as soon as you pass an accident in the lanes on the OTHER SIDE of the highway(going the other way) !! The internet is just high tech "gawking" at the accidents!! It is also a good reminder of our own mortality!! My 2cents!! I know,,that's about what it's worth too!!
