This not my first time in Iraq and its not often I see any thing that truly surprises me here any more but this, this takes the cake. Love it, hate it, laugh at it. photobucket

the aribic writing is part of the Iraqi flag "allahu akbar"an Islamic exclamation called the Takbir in Arabic which means "Allah is the Greatest" or god is great in layman's terms

EDIT: To clarify though, that's the Iraqi flag as it was under Saddam, not the current one or the one they used immediately after our liberation of them.

Cool find. I sent an emblem to a fellow vette lover when I sent a few care packages last year. Wanted to know if they ever did anything fun like put it on a tank or something.

What vehicle was that one on?
