I bought the APSIS for the rear. Good quality & fit. A little pricey for what they are but, in this case you're getting what you're paying for.

I have the Apsis model. Got them so many years ago, that I cannot remember the cost or the vender. They have worked very well and I have no road rash on the sides or mirrors.

Damn those look like they hand down low. Can you get a pic from ground level? I'm worried about cathing them as I come down off a speed bump.

This pic shows the ground clearance a little better. The front guards are low and speed bumps do have to be taken with care.

I put guards on front and rear, ended up taking the fronts off because they would drag on speed bumps or a dip in the road taken at speed.

Gotta agree, I have Altecs on the rear. Had to take the fronts off as they would drag every chance they got no matter how careful I was.

+1 Haven't got around to installing them (rear only for me) yet, but I really appreciate the write-up. I wouldn't even consider the Apsis ones, but the C6Z ones are perfect.

Important note: DeeGee has the C6Z/ZR1 splash guards which are considerably larger than the base model C6 guards (which i have on my car. The base model version will provide limiteed protection but have better aerodynamics.

I have a complete set of 4 (front and rear) for sale if you want them (minor modification to the rear is requried, front fits no problem) I'll try to get pics this weekend when the car is all cleaned up.

I had a set from Ecklers on my last two C5s but they don't make them anymore. Still looking for a set that you don't have to drill into the body to mount.

Yes they are stock parts. Gene Culley or Bob at Fichtner will do a better deal for you.

The guards are about $50 each and the fasteners a few $ more.

The Apsis guards are really nice and will fit without any of the shaping but I guess the extra $$ may decide whether you go that way or modify stock guards.
