My wife is driving the possum hunter today. I even washed and dried it for her so she could look good doing it. Not sure if I should have named the car or her "the possum hunter" but either way, if she finds another one I still love her.
Damn guys he's just venting because of a scratch on his car...take it easy on him. I'm sure you all get frustrated when you get a scratch on yours. It happens, let him vent.
To the OP, I get your frustration. And instead of venting to your wife about the scratch its better to come on here and vent (at least if people aren't trying to be ignorant) instead of venting to your wife because you know it wasnt her fault. See if some scratch remover can take it out and if not, she'll buff out. Good luck
Wheel out the scratch, hopefully it's just the clear coat. Sit back, open a beer, light up a fatty and let it go. It could be so much worse! Just think how stressed she was over it.
At least it was not your wife's fault. But there really is no excuse for people that allow their dogs to jump on people's cars. i love dogs, and have always had a dog, but none of my dogs have ever been in teh situation where they could do that.. Not being negative, just my opinion...

But, I agree it's not the wife's fault. And hopefully the "friend" will step up to take responsibility for the costs involved.
I agree with these two posts. Vent here, not on your wife, not her fault, I'm sure she feels terrible. Don't hate the dog, the owner should have had control over it. Try to buff the scratch out and if it doesn't come out, just point it out to her every time you guys are near the car together.
